Writing Contest

The writing contest is open to any current HPHS student. Winning entries will be published in the Tartan and listed in the Bagpipe.

Each submission—regardless of the category—must:

Be titled

Be typed

Be double-spaced

Show your student ID # and phone # in the upper right corner of each page

Be submitted online in Moodle by March 8, 2013, at 4:00 pm

Short Fiction

Must not exceed 1,500 words

ust be marked "FICTION" at the top of first page

Poetry

Must not exceed fifty lines

Must be marked "POEM" at the top of first page,/p>

Imaginative Essay

Must not exceed 1,000 words

Must be marked "ESSAY" at the top of first page
